Cancellation policy – rental car in Israel
You may notify AVIS of canceling your reservation in one of the following ways ("Cancellation Notice)":
a) Via email: [email protected] ;
b) At one of AVIS branches in Israel or by calling AVIS Reservation center at the number *2722. Sunday-Thursday between 8:00-18:00, Fridays between 8:00-13:00 Israeli time;
c) By sending mail to the address: 10 Hamasger st., Lod zip code 7129807 (addressed to "AVIS"(;
d) in the link appears on the main page of the website.
You will be entitled to 100% refund, without cancellation fee, in case of submitting Cancellation Notice up to 48 hours before the date specified in the reservation as the date of picking up the vehicle.
Cancellation fee of 200 NIS will be charged if Cancellation Notice is submitted after 48 hours before the date specified in the reservation as the date of picking up the vehicle.
If you do not arrive to pick up the vehicle on the pick-up date specified in the reservation, without giving any notice of cancellation, you will be charged a "no-show" fee as follows:
200 NIS for car groups A, K, B, C
300 NIS for car groups D, E, D1, E1, N
400 NIS for car groups F, G, G1, I, I1
600 NIS for car groups H, U, T, J, J1, S, Q, L, M.
