1. General
1.1. Dear User, UMI Group, which includes the following companies: U.T.S – Universal Transportation Solutions Ltd. (Avis Israel), Universal Motors Israel Ltd. (UMI), Dan Lease-A-Car 1988 (Trade-In) Ltd., UMI Insurance Agency (1994) Ltd., Universal Finance Solutions Ltd., Office 3000 Ltd., Universal Import UMI Ltd., and other affiliated companies from time to time (together: “the Group” or “UMI Group”), respects your privacy as well as the privacy of all of its customers and users of its digital services. These include the “Avis Israel” website available at avis.co.il, other Group websites (“Website” and collectively “Websites”), as well as applications, digital chatbot services, digital invoice services, additional digital services, and recorded calls (together: “Digital Interfaces”).
1.2. Use of the Digital Interfaces is subject to the most updated version of this Privacy Policy and constitutes your consent to it, including future changes. We therefore recommend reviewing it before use. UMI Group may update the Privacy Policy and/or Terms of Use from time to time to reflect technological, business, legal, or regulatory changes. Updates will be published in this document in its updated version on the Group’s Websites.
1.3. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain what information is collected about you when using the Group’s Digital Interfaces, and how the Group uses the information provided by you or collected by the Group in connection with your use of the services offered therein (“Services”). Note that for certain specific Digital Interfaces or services, different rules may apply, and a separate privacy policy may be published. In such cases, the specific policy will apply.
For clarification: whenever the term “the Group” is used, it refers to all UMI Group companies, jointly and severally – meaning that information collected through the Digital Interfaces is collected for the benefit of the entire Group.
2. Information Collected
2.1. During your use of the Websites and receipt of Services, you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself, including (together: “Information”):
2.1.1.Sales, leasing, or rental services: Information required to provide and operate such services (including personal area on the Website, if available), such as: full name, address, ID number, phone number, email, and, where relevant, vehicle characteristics, service history, rental times, pickup location, etc.
2.1.2.Purchases via Digital Interfaces: Information such as: full name, address, email, order details, payment method, bank account details, vehicle details, and order-related notes.
2.1.3.Job applications: Applicants may submit details via the Website, including: full name, email, phone number, city of residence, and updated CV. Submission for one role allows consideration for other positions across the Group. recruitment privacy policy
2.1.4.Contact/chatbot communications: Users may contact the Group via chatbot on the Website or WhatsApp. Depending on the context, you may be asked to provide: full name, phone number, ID number, nature of inquiry, and relevant documents. Conversations may be stored.
2.1.5.Marketing communications: Information such as full name, phone number, email, and sometimes vehicle type of interest.
2.1.6.Technical & digital identifiers: Information such as browser type, device details, IP address, browsing data, and usage patterns. This is collected via Cookies (see Section 4).
2.2. As a general rule, you are not legally required to provide this information and providing it is voluntary. However, for certain services (e.g., credit card purchase verification), you will be required to provide certain details (such as ID numbers). Without providing required details, the Group may be unable to provide Services.
2.3. Information provided must be accurate, correct, and updated, and should only be provided on your behalf (not for third parties) unless you have explicit written authorization.

3.1.2.Contacting you for provision of Services, direct marketing, or promotional purposes.

3.1.4.Marketing and statistical purposes, including research, profiling, customer relationship management, and surveys.

3.1.7.Use of the Group’s Digital Interfaces.

5.1.4. In case of violation of Terms of Use or unlawful activity.
5.1.5. Where legally required (e.g., court order, authority request).
5.1.6. To prevent serious harm to the Group, users, or third parties.
5.1.7. In case of transfer, merger, acquisition, or sale of Group assets or companies.
5.2. The Group may share aggregated, non-identifiable statistical data with third parties.
5.3. Digital Interfaces may contain links to external sites (e.g., Facebook, YouTube). Clicking them is at your own risk, and the Group is not responsible for third-party sites or their privacy policies.
6. Data Security
6.1.The Group uses industry-standard measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of user data. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Contact Regarding Privacy
7.1.UMI Group is the controller of its data repositories. Under the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you or your representative may review your personal data held by the Group and request correction or deletion if it is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, subject to law. The Group may request additional details to verify your identity before processing such requests.
